Troupe ‘Hip’notic is looking for more dancers!

Below you will find an application to join the troupe in the form of a questionnaire. This application may appear daunting, but we just want to make sure applicants are sincere in their interest and fit well with our troupe dynamic. Any information that explains your dance background, style, personality, dance goals and dance philosophy will help us determine whether you might be a good match for our group.

Troupe ‘Hip’notic Member Application

Requirements:

This application, plus a non-edited video/DVD/online link to clear footage of you dancing. Feel free to also send your dance resume, and/or a few photos. Please email info@troupehipnotic.com for instructions on where to send DVDs.
Applicant should be at intermediate level of classes or higher.
If selected to join, applicant must be able to attend weekly Wednesday practices in Lusby, MD.
If selected, applicant must agree with, and sign, Troupe Guidelines, which will be discussed with applicant after selection.

We’d like to know your current and past instructors with dates/location that you received instruction. Please clearly indicate whether this instruction was in the form of classes or a workshop. Question 5: Please explain your dance style/history...In what style do you dance/have you danced, prefer to dance, excel at dancing in, etc…(required)
Question 6: Prop experience?What props do you have experience or proficiency with? (zills, veil, sword, cane, Isis wings, shamadan, drums, other…)(required)
