October 19th, Troupe ‘Hip’notic was proud to perform once again as a part of Yucy El-Banan’s Arabian Nights Show at the Decoy Lounge in Colony South Hotel in Clinton, MD. Yucy puts together a wonderful showcase and our troupe always has a blast performing there. The audience is always so much fun. This was the debut of our new full troupe sword routine! It has been said that there’s nothing quite like a whole troupe balancing shining scimitars!

The troupe performed at the St. Mary’s County Fair in Leonardtown, MD on September 23. We always have a great time performing at fairs, and this year was no different. Thanks to all the kids who joined us on stage to dance and accompany us with instruments! Pictures can be found in the Gallery.
PERFORMANCE: Troupe ‘Hip’notic will be performing Saturday 9/2 at Mt. Zion UMC Good Old Days Fair, at Summerseat Farm in Oakville, MD at 4pm! This performance will include folkloric and modern Egyptian choreographies using props such as canes, veils, and zills.
