4^th Annual Summer Solstice Hafla

When - June 5, 2010.  Doors open at 4:30pm, show begins at 5:00pm

Where – Patuxent Hall, Kings Landing Park in Huntingtown, MD.

*A submission form will be posted for you to sign up for a dance spot, check back later!*
Please come and help us celebrate! There will also be a time for open dance.  This is offered as a family show for friends and family of dancers and will not be open to the general public, but feel free to pass this on to other dancers you think might be interested in coming for support. Please consider coming down to Calvert County to help Troupe ‘Hip’notic  celebrate the coming of Summer!

Details:

–The space?

The dance space is carpeted, large and at floor level. The ceiling in Patuxent Hall is really tall so canes, Isis wings, and swords will be fine. There are no side doors from which to enter the stage space, but we will have ‘faux stage wings’ set up at either side from which you can enter if you so choose.  There are photos of the Patuxent Hall dance space from last year’s rainy hafla HERE

–Parking?

There will be plenty of free parking at the park.

–Changing areas or come dressed and ready?

We will still have the changing tent for dancers, and the public bathroom is just across the room.

–Music & Time Allowance

4 mins max for soloists & duos
5 mins max for troupes (3+ dancers)

Ideally we would like you to email us an mp3 copy of your music or get us an mp3 via a website download.  We can help you with this process if you are unfamiliar.

Fee – $5/person (performers are free, as are children 5 and under!)

Make sure you have all of your information together for your performance and then submit below to hold your dance spot.  Then email your mp3 to Dryad.dancing@gmail.com
