A small contingency of Troupe ‘Hip’notic participated in Leonardtown, MD’s Annual Veteran’s Day Parade for the third year running. We always love a parade and the Veteran’s Day Parade is just about the biggest parade in the shortest distance - shows how many people want to participate and show their patriotism and support for veterans.

9/15/07 - Anon, Becca & Jesenia will be performing at the Green Door Tavern in St. Mary’s City, MD opening for the band, Diojee, who are returning after a two year hiatus. Performance begins around 10pm. Look out for Jesenia’s new drum solo and for a new duet by Anon & Becca. It was two years ago that Jesenia first saw us dance at The Door and it was this performance that prompted her to begin taking bellydance lessons…we think it’s fitting that she’s dancing with us at this upcoming Green Door performance!

Troupe ‘Hip’notic is thrilled to welcome another new troupe member into their midst! Tania is the newest member of the troupe and we are excited that she is joining us. Look for Tania and her gorgeous tray of candles dance at our upcoming events.

5/5/07 - Members of Troupe ‘Hip’notic will be performing at St. Mary’s County Spring Festival at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds from 4:30 to 5:30pm. If you still haven’t had your fill of bellydance you can go to India Garden Restaurant at 6:30pm and watch Anon and Becca dance too!

Troupe ‘Hip’notic will be part of Yucy’s fabulous Arabian Nights Show on April 19th at Colony South Hotel, Clinton MD. Admission is $7, the show begins at 7pm.

This show features: Nimeera, Amustela, Troupe ‘Hip’notic, and Yucy’s “Belly Dance for Life” All Stars. Rising stars: Safiya and Rashid Aladeen!
